This photo shows the rugged coastline of Cape Clear – the southernmost inhabited island in Ireland. Cape Clear is located in Roaringwater Bay, about 12 km from the mainland.
Especially when crossing to an island, I always realize what a blessing it is to be able to photograph digitally. When photographing wildlife, lighthouses, the ocean, etc. from a boat, it makes a huge difference that you can shoot non-stop and judge the results immediately. If instead you had to change the film after 36 exposures and wait days until you can assess the developed slides, that would limit you a lot.
