Actually, I visited Easkey Pier in County Sligo to photograph O’Dowd Castle, a 13th century tower house. But the shore had a lot more to offer. Boulders shaped by the sea, fossil structures that date back for millions of years and some curious black stones with white spots can be discovered here. A truly extraordinary coastline.
