This small beach is located at Minard on the Dingle Peninsula. The beach is situated between majestic cliffs on one side and the ruins of Minard Castle perched on top of a gentle hill on the opposite side. The Tower house was once blown up along with its occupants from Cromwell’s troops.
I am very fascinated by the large boulders beside the sandy beach that were shaped from the sea and washed ashore during heavy storms.
