The combination of strong winds and high waves that hit the west coast of Ireland for some weeks now has taken its toll. On our recent travel we witnessed devastating damages along the west coast. Roads and beaches were completely washed away, piers were seriously damaged, and entire areas were hit with flooding. I really hope that the weather conditions change soon and the situation improves for all the people that were affected by the force of nature.
