This beautiful waterfall can be found at the border between the Counties Mayo and Galway where the Erriff river falls down for a few meters. It achieved some fame when a scene of the movie “The Field“ (with Richard Harris) was filmed in front of this waterfall.
When I was there at the end of April it was very windy and kept raining every now and then. Not the best conditions to photograph. So I decided to translate this shot into B&W. I’m very happy now with the result as I think the poor weather has no more negative effect on it.
