While it’s grey outside now in autumn I think back to the summer and my discovery trips in West Cork. Again and again these led me to the beautiful Dunworley Bay on the Seven Heads Peninsula. The “forgotten” peninsula is located on the Wild Atlantic Way, but was never included in the route (or simply forgotten?). Since then there have been efforts that the peninsula between Clonakillty and Timoleague should become part of the Wild Atlantic Way after all. So far in vain.
