Ages ago the Hill of Tara was the seat of the High King of Ireland and also a sacral and ritual site. Located at the summit of the hill is Lia Fáil, the Stone of Destiny (center of the picture).
What raved above the stone was probably nothing more than the regular irish summer weather – or was it some kind of magic…?
