This image is from my Ireland 2013 calendar and shows Eightercua Stone Row in County Kerry.
Legend says that Eightercua is the gravesite of Scéine, the wife of the Milesian invaders´ leader. The Milesians marched into Ireland ages ago and are assumed to be the progenitors of today’s Ireland. According to the legend they expelled the old rulers of the Emerald Isle to the otherworld and from then on wielded the sceptre in the visible world.
