Happy St. Patrick’s Day everybody!
When driving along the Ring of Kerry, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. Lush green pastures, lined with stone walls, stretch all the way to the shore. For my shot, however, I pointed the camera in the opposite direction with a view of the rolling hinterland. This section of the Ring near Sneem never fails to inspire me. Especially because of the lonely old cottage at the foot of the mountain, which is visibly falling apart.
There have been very few updates here recently, mainly because I have been updating my Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland Highlights websites. This work is now almost complete and as I can now call a new camera system (the Nikon Z system) my own, I can’t wait to hit the road again. So you can expect to see new photographs here on a more regular basis.
