This image was the cover of my Wild Atlantic Way book published in 2015. With the coastal road winding through an unspoiled landscape, the sea, cliffs and sheep on a pasture, the scene represents much of what the Wild Atlantic Way promises.
I particularly like the fact that this shot doesn’t show a classic photo hotspot but a rather ordinary scene (though “garnished” by the sheep on the cliff). This still makes the location special to me, and one that has probably only been photographed very rarely.
