Wreck

Countless shipwrecks can be found around the Irish coast. For me, it’s always fun to track such wrecks.

When we visited the Fanad Peninsula in August we went to Donaghmore Strand. This large sandy beach is only accessible by foot and looked as if no one had been there for awhile. After we walked along the beach for some time, we could see the wreck. Not much of it remained as the sandy beach is quite active. And so it seems only a matter of time, until the sand finally “swallows” the wreck.
